• Utilization of available and development of new potentials for security issues, such as border security, civil protection, critical infrastructure protection, society resilience to mass catastrophes, crisis management, international peacekeeping operations, risk analysis implementation in business
• Promotion of security policies’ role in economic and cultural development of society
  Monitoring, analysis, research and development of security policies
• Expert knowledge education in the security field

• Promotion, organization and participation in organizing manifestations related to security issues
• Research and publication of scientific and expert publications in security field
• Development of risk assessment and security plans related to promotion and encouragement of energy and industry sector as well as innovation and competition development, tourism and environmental protection
• Counseling and other expert services in security fields, especially related to border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Evaluation of scientific and expert literature in security field, especially with regard the border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Analysis of global, regional and local trends related to the development of economy, energy, industry, innovation, tourism, culture, public health and social welfare systems, social inclusion and employment policy, marginalized groups, education, sport, environmental protection
• Development of draft strategy goals and regulation amendments in the security field, especially related to border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Development of strategy and other documents for public and private sectors in the security field, especially related to border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Preparation of projects to be financed by EU funds, local and international organizations in the security field, especially related to border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Cooperation with employers, employers’ associations, public institutions, academic community, experts’ associations, NGOs and other relevant domestic and international institutions in order to create a synergy effect in the security field, especially with regard the border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
• Encouragement of interdepartmental cooperation necessary to achieve goals in the security field, especially related to border security and migrations, economic and business security, tourism security, protection of persons and property, environmental protection, critical infrastructure protection
